N.C.A.A. Tourney

For the fourth consecutive year the Dartmouth basketball team has been selected to represent the New England district in the N.C.A.A. tournament. The four teams in the Eastern half of the tourney will compete in Madison Square Garden, New York, on March 24 and 25, and the final between the Eastern and Western winners will be staged there on March 28.

No other Eastern selections are known at this writing, but Army and Navy are both prominently mentioned. Dartmouth's team will be considerably changed from the club which romped through the 1943-44 schedule, for a number of V-12 regulars were detached in February. Coach Earl Brown will have about three weeks in which to rebuild his team after the start of the March term.
