A LITTLE FOOTBALL

Although football will be out of the Dartmouth sports picture until spring practice opens in July, gridiron news was created early in March when Johnny Dell Isola, popular varsity line coach for the past two seasons, resigned to accept the position of coach and teacher at Maiden (Mass.) High School. Dell Isola came to Dartmouth as freshman line coach in 1941 after seven seasons with the professional New York Giants. The former Fordham star was named Ail-American guard in 1933 and started his pro career the following year.
