A SPECIAL "ALL HANDS" EDITION of Navyat Dartmouth greeted Navy V-12 trainees reporting for the new March term. The 32-page pictorial magazine, covering the varied aspects of the V-12 program and Dartmouth life, was a cooperative project between the Navy and the College. A disc ussion by President Hopkins of "Dartmouth and V-12," and two articles in which Captain Cummings, Commander of the Unit, speaks on Naval tradition, and qualities and conduct expected of Navy men, are interesting sections of the booklet. Major Howland, Officer in Charge of the Marine Detachment, describes the history and function of his famous Corps. Other pictorial features and descriptive material help to make new trainee feel oriented in his new environment.
