So far as heard from, Lawrence is the first of '82s Great-grandfathers! He writes, "For a side dish I have taken to rereading Virgil and Horace—some of my college work. I find it relaxing and inspiring. I have finished the first books of each, and am now on the second." He continues to go through his daily exercises, which others might find of advantage.

Partridge gives a new address: 35 Eastern Parkway, Baldwin, Long Island, N. Y. Coburn has wintered in California.

Your class secretary escaped cold weather in a hospital where he stayed from January 3 to March 25; having three operations under anesthetic. Expect to be good as new when incisions are fully healed and I recover my strength.

Have received pledges of gifts to the Alumni Fund from several already, and all but one of those not heard from gave last year, so it looks like contributions from six of the seven living graduates. The College needs all it can get.
