DARTMOUTH COLLEGE'S THIRD CONFEENCE on Inter-American Relations will take place under the joint auspices of the College and the office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs on May 23 to 25, according to an announcement made by Prof. Jose M. Arce, who is in charge of arrangements.
The main theme of the coming conference will be "The Unity of the Americas After the War." The political, economic and cultural aspects of the subject will be presented through lectures, special classes and seminars. They will be further illustrated by special exhibits and possibly by concerts of Latin-American music. Several guest consultants will participate.
The previous conferences were held in November 1939 and November 1940. The central topics then discussed were "American Solidarity and the World Crisis" and "The Defense of the Americas."
