DUDLEY W. ORR '29 of Concord, N. H., was reelected Alumni Trustee of the College, to succeed himself for a first full term of five years, at the annual spring meeting of the Board in Hanover on June 9. Mr. Orr was first elected Alumni Trustee in December 1941 to fill the unexpired term of William W. Grant '03, now a Life Trustee.

Mr. Orr is engaged in the private practice of law in Concord, and in addition is chairman of the New Hampshire State Planning and Development Commission and is counsel for the New Hampshire division of the OPA. He formerly was a member of the New Hampshire State Tax Commission. From 1935 to 1937 he was Assistant Attorney General of New Hampshire, resigning that position to accept appointment to the state tax commission and to start private practice. Following his graduation from Dartmouth and one year of study in France, he took his LL. B. degree at Harvard in 1933 and for the next two years was with the Manchester, N. H., firm of McLane, Davis and Carleton.

Members of the Dartmouth Board of Trustees now include President Hopkins; five Life Members: Victor M. Cutter '03, William W. Grant '03, Edward S. French '06, John R. McLane '07, and Dr. John F. Gile '16; five Alumni Members: Dr. Arthur H. Ruggles '02, William J. Minsch '07, Harvey P. Hood II '18, Dudley W. Orr '29, and Nelson A. Rockefeller '30; and Governor Robert O. Blood '13m of New Hampshire, ex-officio member.
