The death of the Class Secretary's mother, Mrs. Howard G. Moody, the latter part of September, following a period of illness, made it impossible for him to send in his 1940 Class Notes in time to be published in this issue of the MAGAZINE. We all join in expressing our deepest sympathy to John in the loss of his mother.—Ed. Note.
