THE RAPID REDEPLOYMENT program of ETO forces has all but wiped out the 10th Armored Division's Dartmouth Club of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The division went home in the middle of September with only Capt. Les Nichols '40 still with it as the Dartmouth representative.
Lt. Everett Lord-Wood '41, one of the Club members still left in Garmisch, has started a huge G.I. Ski School for Occupation Forces and he'll be handling this much-publicized wintersports program all winter. Ev may be located up at the Zugspitz any time.
Lt. Scott Rogers '40 is another of the original Garmisch-Partenkirchen Club left behind in Germany when the 10th Armored left for home. He is now with the Army of Occupation, the gth Infantry Division, as Division Ordnance Supply Officer, "a sad situation," he says, "but, at least, I won't be too far from Garmisch."
HONORED BY FELLOW ALUMNI OF WASHINGTON, President-elect Dickey is shown at the Hotel Annapolis luncheon meeting on September 18. Left to right are James B. Reynolds '90, Henry P. Blair '89, Mr. Dickey, Malcolm F. Johnson '21, club president, Lt. Hugh R. Morris '45 USMCR, and Frederick L. Pearce '15, Alumni Council member.
