On October 3 Tedjennings '67, son of our Class President Mutt Jennings, called with the shocking news that Mutt had died of a heart attack. Mutt had been on a European tour, was stricken while in Italy, and died in a hospital in Venice. He loved to travel and had been on several tours recently, including one to Kenya, which was reported on in the April issue. So, in a sense, he died with his boots on, doing what he wanted to do.

If you are taking it one year at a time these days, concentrate on 1993, with particular emphasis on the part between June 25 and 27, the time of our grand 65 th Reunion. A great turnout is expected. Imaginative financing by our reunion committee provides lodging at the Hanover Inn at no cost to the individual. Former U.S. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop '37 will address us, probably to tell us about the facts of life. Who could possibly want anything more?

Among the travel notes, Lane and BettyDwinell were in London recently, possibly checking out the odd behavior of the royal family. Then, for Paula's birthday in August, we took a cruise to Bermuda, providing her a week with no cooking. It began and ended in Alexandria, just a taxi ride from home. It was pleasant enough, the food was great, but, somehow, not very relaxing. Could we be aging?

I regret to report the death of Win Taylor on June 1.
