PRESIDENT HOPKINS WILL address three groups of alumni during the month of April at important dinner meetings to be held in New York City and Boston. He will be the chief speaker at the annual New York alumni dinner on April 26, 6:30 P.M., at the Hotel Pennsylvania, which it is expected nearly a thousand alumni will attend. Earlier in the month

on April 9 he will speak briefly at the dinner meeting of the Boston Class Agents at the Algonquin Club and the next evening will give a short talk at the dinner meeting of the New York Class Agents which will be held at the New York Dartmouth Club.

On March 10, the President, as Chairman of Americans United for World Organization, spoke over New York radio station WHN on the crucial period following the armistice. His talk was entitled "A Platform for Human Rights."

RESTORING FRESHMAN COMMONS gives the entering forty-nine '49ers pleasant opportunities to become acquainted with classmates. The miniature Commons has been set up on the second floor of Thayer Hall.
