Alumni Officers Meet

THE DARTMOUTH BOARD OF TRUSTEES and the Alumni Council will hold their annual spring meetings on the same week end, June 8-9, in Hanover.

The initial meeting of the series scheduled will be that of the Trustees which will take place on Friday afternoon, June 8. It will be followed by a dinner that evening at which members of both the Board and the Council will be present. After dinner both groups will gather in a joint informal session to hear talks by various officers of the College on wartime and postwar problems and policies.

On Saturday morning, June 9, the Council will hold its regular business meeting at which Henry E. Atwood '13, of Minneapolis, president of the Council, will preside. Among the subjects on the Council's agenda for discussion are the Dartmouth Vocational Plan for alumni servicemen, the Alumni Fund and Class Funds, admission of students after the war, the Dartmouth Navy Alumni Association, alumni club problems, and other Council business. The feature of the weekend gathering will be, as usual, President Hopkins' informal talk on College affairs.

Saturday afternoon will be devoted to recreational activities, with a baseball doubleheader between Dartmouth and Columbia heading the events planned.

The meetings will be brought to a close with the President's reception on Saturday evening, June 9, at the President's House.
