Hartford

ON THURSDAY evening, April 19, the Dartmouth men from Hartford and vicinity met at the Hotel Bond for dinner and the annual meeting of the Dartmouth Club of Hartford.

We were fortunate in having as our guest and speaker Professor George Theriault who gave an interesting talk on the College and its activities in wartime. As the Club has been rather inactive, we were somewhat out of date as to our understanding of the work of the College in obtaining and training the V-12 units and all of those present were clearly impressed by the excellent job done by the College administration in connection with this program as well as in the tentative plans for the future of Dartmouth.

The new officers for the coming year elected at the meeting were Van Vleck H. Vosßurgh, '22, President; Dr. Stanley B. Weld, 'l2, Vicepresident; John W. Holt, '2O, Secretary and Treasurer.

The officers hope that any Dartmouth men in the Hartford Metropolitan area whose names are not on the mailing list will get in touch with them so that they may be advised of coming meetings.
