Bishop Preaches

ON THE FIRST SUNDAY of the fall term, the initial College Service of the year was held in Rollins Chapel with the Rt. Rev. John Thomson Dallas, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire, as guest preacher. Bishop Dallas, who holds Dartmouth's honorary Doctorate of Divinity and at one time was rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Hanover, gave his sermon before students, faculty, and members of the community. The services were held in cooperation with the Church of Christ and St. Thomas Church.
