THE DARTMOUTH CLUB of Cincinnati held its first postwar monthly luncheon at the University Club on Friday October 18. A group of sixteen enjoyed the first midday get-together at which it was decided that a joint luncheon be held with the Cornell group on Saturday November 16. Those present at the first luncheon included: E. Vance Clark '21, James M. Hutton '21, Frank O. Loveland '24, Carl F. Streit '28, Edward W. Markel '29, Herbert P. Simpson '29, Gregory G. Wright '29, Irvin M. Bettman '31, Frank J. Nairne '36, Arthur Motch '38, John C. Egbert '39, Harrison P. Warrener '39, Robert Lake '40, Lewis K. Johnstone '4l, Lewis S. Brucker Jr. '42, and Warner C. Wilson Jr. '42.
The Cincinnati Club will hold its monthly luncheon at the University Club on the third Friday of each month at 12:15 P.M. All Dartmouth men in the area are cordially invited to join the group. Plan to make the December luncheon in a couple of weeks!
Hass Warrener, entertainment chairman, suggests that the Dartmouth men of the Cincinnati area keep Sunday afternoon December 29 open as there will be a late afternoon Holiday Party for the benefit of the fellows in Hanover now and those in town who are hoping to join the Dartmouth family in the fall of '47. The specific details as to time and place of the party will be released in the near future.
