DARTMOUTH NIGHT WAS celebrated in Montreal, Canada, on October 25, with the customary fanfare. Greetings were forwarded to the College and a most interesting report from Sid Hayward '26 on current Hanover happenings was received with great appreciation.
The meeting was presided over by Dan Hatch '06; musical program was under the auspices of "Cut" Tirrell '00 and Bill Terry '13. Don Cruikshank '31 came down from Ottawa, and Bill Cunliffe, father of Bruce '47, represented the undergraduate body. Others attending were Chas. McCarthy '12, Jesse Hubel '14, Dave Camp '22, Rex Stollmeyer '29, Elwin Wright '29, Bob Cummings '42 and Ed Zeller '42.
Representatives of the older classes put into practice some ancient rules for election railroading that smacked of the pork barrel days! The spirit of Dartmouth Night carried over the weekend, when the Terrys, Cunliffes and the Kugelmans motored over the border to take in the Columbia game at Hanover.
