The Dartmouth Club of Central Florida held its first meeting of the season on Dartmouth Night. Although this is early in the year for this locality, seventeen members were present for a social hour and dinner. The occasion got off to a good start with the rendering of several Dartmouth songs which were at least highly satisfactory to those assembled.
New members: C. L. Campbell '16, W. T.Hollis '24, Malcolm F. Scoit '41 and J. Zimmer '42 were welcomed. C. P. Richardson '07, another new member, was regrettably unable to attend.
Later a general discussion ensued as to future plans for the Club. Those present felt that it should develop more fully possibilities for service to the College and community. JoeRobinson '32 reported on the efforts made by the Cincinnati Club to improve public relations and further enrollment work. The enrollment work in Central Florida was reviewed and it was agreed that specific plans be mad 6 to develop better public relations and to use the results of this program to enhance enrollment activity. A number of different projects were suggested to be used as the basis for plans during the current year.
