AS OTHER ALUMNI associations gathered across the country some 40 Dartmouth Alumni of the Northwest met Friday evening October 25 in the tap room of Glueks Brewery, Minneapolis. With the help of card games, beer, fellowship and song the tradition of Dartmouth Night was duly celebrated in the Northwest. Thanks are due the Glueks for their perennial hospitality to any and all Dartmouth Alumni; to Bill Schmitt '45 for his energy in procuring a tasty ham with the trimmings for a swell dutch lunch; and to Dick Sleep '35 for his renderings at the piano. The usual number present suffered slightly from competition with the opening date of the Minnesota pheasant season the following morning but enthusiasm shown easily placed this on a par with Northwest Dartmouth Night gatherings of previous years.
