OVER ONE HUNDRED Alumni from Brown and Dartmouth attended a joint football rally at the Metacomet Golf Club on the rainy evening of October 18th. A reception which included free pain remover set the stage for a dinner and informal speaking program. Bill McCarter '19 was the main Dartmouth speaker and "Pat" Kenny, acting Dean, represented Brown. "Whitey" Fuller '37 and "Rip" Engle, Brown coach, gave short resumes of the pending game. The Rhode Island Dartmouth Alumni Association meets the first Thursday of every month at the Crown Hotel in Providence at 12:15. Visiting Dartmouth men are always welcome. Reservations are not necessary. At our first meeting Al Fusonie '28 gave a talk on football scouting. Last month Dr. James L. Hanley, Superintendent of Schools at Providence, acquainted us with the problems that the public schools are facing.
