SPACE DID NOT permit us to report to you last month on two important events. Within that month the Tuck School was granted two fellowships to be awarded to capable second year Tuck men, who need financial assistance in order to complete their work.

The first, a fellowship of $1500 per year was granted by the Gulf Oil Corporation to be awarded to the second year student who, in the eyes of the faculty, has outstanding ability and needs financial assistance in order to finish.

The second, the Eastman Kodak Fellowship, was again granted to the Tuck School. The Eastman Kodak Company offers a total of four fellowships each year, four schools participating in the program each year. It is their plan to circulate these funds among the better graduate schools of business administration throughout the country. This fellowship is for $750.

It goes without saying that we are very happy and proud to be able to offer these fellowships to Tuck School men. It is by means .of funds such as these that capable young men lacking the financial resources can obtain the opportunity to complete their Tuck School training.
