CHARLES F. CAMP '42 assumed his new post as College Officer in Charge of Fraternities on January a. He will direct for the College Administration the reopening of Dartmouth's fraternities, scheduled to occur on March 1, and will inaugurate a program for the closer integration of fraternities with general college purposes.
Camp, who recently received his discharge from the Marine Corps, held the rank of captain. He underwent training in the summer of 1941 in the Platoon Leaders'"Class and entered the Marine Corps immediately after graduation from Dartmouth in May 1945. Since that time he has served on ship and shore stations in the Pacific. As a Dartmouth undergraduate Mr. Camp was elected Senior Class Marshal and was prominent in athletics and fraternity activities. He played varsity football for three years, was treasurer of Alpha Delta Phi, and was a leader in the Interfraternity Treasurers Council. He was married in 1942 to Martha Calland of Decatur, Indiana, and has an infant son, Jeffrey.
