PROF. ERIC P. KELLY 'O6 of the English Department, who has been engaged in Polish relief work during the war, requests the ALUMNI MAGAZINE to announce that he is endeavoring to collect second-hand books for the English seminar of the University of Krakow where he formerly taught and studied. Badly needed are dictionaries, encyclopedias, histories of English and American literature, and the works of English and American novelists. All books in the University of Krakow library were destroyed or stolen by the Nazis.
Books should be sent to Professor Kelly at the Kosciuszko Foundation, 15 East 65th Street, New York 21, N. Y. Professor Kelly-is a member of the board of trustees of this non-political Foundation and it was he who sponsored its recent move to the new headquarters on 65th Street.
