Coach Earl Hamilton's freshman football team lost a 14-7 contest to Brown. The game at Providence saw the Little Green jump to an early 7-0 lead on a second-quarter touchdown by quarterback Dick Horton. Gary Wilson kicked the extra point, but the 7-0 halftime lead was not enough to win.

The freshman soccer team now stands 3-2 for the season. The Pea Greens have beaten Brewster Academy, 2-0, and KUA twice, 5-2 and 2-0. Exeter handed the '6ss their first loss, 4-3, and Andover established supremacy, 2-1.

The freshman cross-country team, under the tutelage of Coach Ellie Noyes, whipped both Columbia and Yale on the Hanover course in its only race to date. The score read: Dartmouth 23, Columbia 37, Yale 75.
