A communique from relatively landlocked St. Paul, Minnesota, reports that yet another son of Dartmouth has been promoted to high service rank. William T. Middlebrook '12 has been appointed an admiral in the Navy—the Great Navy of Nebraska. His appointment was made by Governor Dwight Griswold of Nebraska.

The vice president in charge of business administration at the University of Minnesota, Mr.—sorry—Adm. Middlebrook believes he got the esteemed honor for his work in aiding a Nebraska legislative group that toured the University of Minnesota recently. However, he is still a bit hazy as to where he should report for duty and what he would do when he does. Our guess for the most likely spot to find the Nebraska Navy would be in Saline County or possibly farther west in the town of Broadwater.
