"P. S. M."

With this issue, Philip S. Marden '94 retires as Associate Editor of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE. The initials "P. S. M." have graced our columns for a good many years, from 1920 to 1932 and again from 1942 to the present time. Between these two periods Mr. Marden served the College as Alumni Trustee, adding still another reason for his eminence among those who have worked long and unselfishly for the good of Dartmouth.

Although Gradus ad Parnassum will henceforth be the responsibility of other hands, the editors hope that "P. S. M." will continue to appear in our columns from time to time. The MAGAZINE'S indebtedness to our retiring Associate Editor cannot adequately be expressed. We know that our readers share in this deep feeling of appreciation.
