OUR AUGUST ISSUE has been delayed in order to bring you reviews and pictures of the five weekends of alumni reunions held in Hanover from June 28 through the month of July. These articles will be found in the Class Notes section. Also reviewed this month, on Pages 9 to 15, are the College's 177 th Commencement Exercises, which marked the revival of many of the pre-war features of that traditional weekend.
A memoir of Dean Strong, whose sudden death on June 8 stunned the College, has been written by Prof. John Hurd '21, Associate Editor of the MAGAZINE, and will be found on Page 17. Another major article this month is the stimulating analysis of the labor issue by John G. MacKechnie '31, whose contribution from the management side rounds out the So Little Time discussion which Professor Keir launched in April. It starts on Page 23.
