THE DARTMOUTH OUTING CLUB of New York was revived at a dinner held at the Dartmouth Club in New York last Wednesday evening, November 20. Although the Club has been officially active during the war, most of its members were in the Armed Forces, so Marv Chandler '32 and Rip Ripsom '37 were about the only really active members. Marv,. who was largely responsible for keeping the Club alive, handed the Presidency over to Alec Jones '38, who will lead the Club for the coming season. Other officers were: Secretary—Ben Moats '46: Treasurer—Marv Chandler '32; Activities—Sid Hogarton '38; Ski weekends- Warren Flynn '38; Membership and Publicity —Alec Clark '40; Competition—Rip Ripsom '37.

Along with the main meet of the season at Manchester, Vt., over the weekend of February 8-9 with the New York City Ski Council, which comprises about twenty ski clubs in the metropolitan area, the Club hopes to enter a team in other competition during the season.

The Club is anxious to get a large membership, and any Dartmouth man may join for a dollar sent to Ben Moats at the Dartmouth Club, 37 East 39th St., New York. Wives are welcome, too.
