WITH JACK TOBIN '42 LEADING THE FIELD of sixty-eight entries in the annual New York City Interclub race on Big Bromley's Shincracker Trail at Manchester, Vermont, the Dartmouth Outing Club of New York ski team took first place to edge out last year's winner, the Amateur Ski Club of New York. The course was a fast controlled downhill, with twenty gates in a half-mile length. Eleven clubs competed.

Following Tobin were Ben Moats '46, Bleecker Ripsom '37, and Marv Chandler '32, whose combined times formed the winning score. Others competing for the DOCNY team were: Harry Gilmore '34, Jim Flint '32, Warren Flynn '38, and Mary Louise Holton, daughter of Dick Holton '18.

Besides those competing, present for the week-end at the Ethan Allen Inn, Arlington, Vermont, which is run by Ben Burch '32, were: Alec Clark '40, Syd Hogerton '38, Dick Holton '18, Walt Lipman '41, and Bob Stix '38.
