It was certainly a shock to get a copy of the 55th Reunion picture of the Class—I wondered if we really were such a haggard and worn-out looking bunch as it indicated. It was a real relief to receive, a little later, some snapshots which Miss Sargent took at Billaura. In these we really looked (and behaved) like human beings and did great credit to our three score and five plus. May we have sunny weather for our 60th so we can avoid a flashlight picture.

Randall is one of those "always content but never satisfied" men. He felt improvement was in order for the second page of his poemso, proceeded to improve it. I am sure he will be glad to send you a revised version if you ask him.

As usual, Geiger has done a fine job as Alumni Fund Collector. He reports that '92 ranks first in percentage of objective (as it has for years) and fourth on participation index. This is a gain as we were sixth last year. You will probably have had a word direct from Geiger before you see this.

On July 1, the Geigers celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary at Biilaura and Hanover. All of the children and their families (except Fritz from Laconia, and Helen in Lisbon, Portugal) and other relatives gathered at Biilaura and a lively place it wais for several days. On the afternoon of July 1, some 125 Hanover friends met at the Inn and expressed in word and deed their affection and esteem. One of the thrills of the celebration was a telephone call from daughter Helen in Lisbon saying her husband had been summoned to Washington, and that they were leaving by plane July 29. They arrived safely July 30.
