This starts off a new year of Class of 1944 Notes; here's hoping the news is plentiful. As most of you probably already know, our first official class reunion will be held on the weekend of June 18-20, 1948, the same dates as for the Class of '43, so start laying your plans now. A reunion committee will be announced shortly and will start their task. Hope you are all also aware of the preferential football game seating which our forthcoming reunion entitles us to this fall.

Your secretary has again left Hanover and now is located at the Naval Hospital at Bethesda, Maryland. A recently-arrived babydaughter is an extra reason for being happy in this new location. Among the '44s seen in Washington and thereabouts in recent months was Dick Whiting, who had a summer job on the staff of President Truman's Committee on Civil Rights, the executive secretary of which is our class adviser, Prof. Carr. Rog Antaya is line coach at George Washington U. here. Walt Price is living in Alexandria, but due shortly for Army duty elsewhere. Bob Lindsay is stationed at the hospital here in Bethesda: he was married in June to Virginia Setterlund of Worcester, Mass. Marsh Tenney is at the Naval Hospital at Portsmouth, Va.

John Berry is in sales promotion and advertising in Dayton, Ohio Ralph Bogan is with the Greyhound Corp. in Chicago Joe Goldstein is at the London School of Economics in London, England Dr. JohnMock is stationed at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton, Washington At last word, Jim Elliott was still overseas Larry Widdecombe is at the Univ. of Kansas FredCampbell is at the Cranbrook School in Bloomfield Hills, which, if memory does not fail me, is Wiley Hitchcock's home TedColwell is working in Chase Nat. Bank and living in New Rochelle; he and Olive have a daughter Linda Don Heller is Research Director for Foote, Cone, and Belding in San Francisco, Calif Tom Kienen is a teller in the First National Bank in Reno, Nevada.

Y. Dave Spencer is at the Navy School of Aviation Medicine in Pensacola, Fla John Wheeler is stationed in Trinidad Don Dunbar is an instructor in psychology at Hamilton College, having spent the summer as Head Counselor at an experimental inter-racial camp for personality development and social living Dud Wilson is currently enrolled in a training course given by the International Tel. and Tel. Corp., in N. Y, C.

Hank Marshall is due to be married soon to Elizabeth Bates; he is working for the A. G. Nelson Paper Cos., in N.Y.C. He adds that Claude Shuchter is with U. S. Trust, also in N. Y. Gus Pratt is the father of two sons now. He writes that George Recke is living near him Meryll Frost is coach of the freshman football team in Hanover this fall Rick Bradley is married to the former Dorothy Holden of Madison, Wise., and is attending the Univ. of California George Bruce continues to be active in Dartmouth Club activities in N.Y.C Bill Glovsky is associated with the Boston law firm of Mintz, Levin, and Cohn Penn Frost was married in May to Ruth Carter; at that time he was working for Larson Architects in N.Y.C. He adds that he occasionally sees Tom Miner, who is with Penn. Mutual Insurance Bruce Fitzsimmons has been ordained in the Unitarian ministry
