Miss Lois A. DUNN, clinical instructor in medical nursing and supervisor of the medical service at the New York Hospital, has been named House Mother at Dick's House, effective October 1. She succeeds Miss Laura B. Gilmore, who resigned last fall after serving as House Mother for 19 years.

Miss Dunn graduated from Wellesley College in 1932. After several years of business experience, she entered the Yale University School of Nursing, receiving her Master of Nursing degree in 1943.

For more than a year she was staff nurse with the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, formerly the Henry Street Visiting Nurse Service. For several months before joining the staff of the New York Hospital, she was research assistant with the Committee on Public Health Relations of the New York Academy of Medicine.
