Harold S. Bowman '46, Tuck '4B, has been selected by the Committee on De- grees and Honors of Tuck School as the recipient of the Gulf Fellowship in Business Administration for the aca- demic year 1947-1948. Mr. Bowman, in addition to having an outstanding record in his first-year Tuck School work, was a member of the varsity football team during the years 1942 and 1943, playing center and quarterback. He was a member of the Constitution Committee brought together by President Dickey for the purpose of revising the student Constitution. He is Secretary-Chairman of the Class of '46, and a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon and Sphinx.

The Gulf Fellowship offered by the Gulf Oil Corporation provides a stipend of up to $1500 for an academic year. The purpose is "to encourage and facilitate study and research in the field of business administration." The Fellowship is granted for graduate work only and is awarded to that candidate who has demonstrated outstanding ability, personality and character as well as need for financial assistance.
