As GUESTS OF Sue and Frank Davenport '38, our summer-time get-together with our families was held Sunday, August 24, at their mountain lodge in Perry County. The picnic supper, the excellent swimming pool and, of course, the beer assured a grand time for all. The presence of the senior Frank Davenports was an added pleasure.
From Tyrone came Jane and Herb Bayer '38. From York, the Phil Molloys '25, the John Wright '37 family, Barbara and HankPierce '37 and Louise and Horace Hoch '29. From Carlisle, the Jack Dodge '35 family. And from Harrisburg, Peg and Bo Daniels '32 and their children, Dick Spong '36, Gus Hull '37, Bill Page '06, Ros Lyon '27 and his daughter Anne, Irv Kiesling '42 and his fiancde, Betty and John Bogar '29, Faye and Bill Page Jr. '33, and the Bob Offenbachs '34.
Scuttlebutt has it that Dick Spong '36 is now at Michigan State teaching English and Journalism; that Jim Wulpi '14 is in Calcutta of all places; and, that the president of the Harrisburg Rotary Club—Ros Lyon '27—already is making the necessary arrangements for the Big Green to come to Hershey early next fall!
