Long Island held Dartmouth Night on Friday, October 8 this year, so those who wished to do so could join with New York the following week for the official Dartmouth Night. At our affair 31 loyal Indians whooped and cheered the team to victory over Holy Cross. Beer flowed freely and helped to oil the throats of John Shaw's ('27) cheering section. Although your secretary could not attend he was advised that there were several new faces in this small but vociferous group of braves. Names of those present are not available, but if you weren't there you missed a swell party.

Bill Jessup '30 reported that Dartmouth Night up on the Hanover Plain was one of the greatest demonstrations of Dartmouth spirit he had ever seen. There is no doubt that Bill's lusty cheers tingled the blood of the undergraduates around him that night.

Carl Buhler '30 is again heading the alumni interviews for the class of '53 from Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties. He is being capably assisted by Wally Rushmore '32, ArtKeleher '27, Phil Orsi '28, Sid Voice '27, GeneSullivan '27, Chris Suttmeier '23, Willard Doyle '33, Steve Millard '26, Bob Darby '39, DougPartington '39, Jack Coulson '39, Frank Hall '41 and Al Fisher '29. This group turned out for the Interview Chairmen's dinner at the Dartmouth Club Tuesday, October 26 and heard very inspiring talks by Irish Flannigan '23, Bob Hage '35 and Al Dickerson '30.

Wally Rushmore has just finished a complete revision of our mailing list and reports that the local breakdown will give us more thorough coverage. Apparently some of you fellows are too bashful to come out by yourselves so now one of your neighbors will call and escort you personally if necessary. Wally is also treasurer and is always happy to relieve any of you of a dollar (1 buck) dues. Mail to Wally Rushmore, 186 Linden St., Mineola, L. I.

Wednesday, November 3, we held a general meeting at Ed Warnke's for the presentation of the Association's new constitution. This was preliminary to official approval at the annual business meeting to be held this year at the Garden City Hotel, Dec. 1. You all received notices so in my next notes I'll report you were there.

Saturday, Oct. 30 there was a mass exodus and peerade from Long Island to New Haven. The reports from Phil Orsi '28, Ken McNair '29, Bill Jessup '30, Carl Buhler '30, Sid Voice '27 and Mel Kutz '33 were very encouraging and also very mild compared to what JohnShaw '27, Ed Warnke '19, and Wally Rushmore '32 related. These last three fellows drove up but flew back in Elwood Doyle's ('36) "B-29 Dodge."

We'd like to welcome the following braves to the Long Island reservation: Curtis '30, Titus '35, Harris '37, Risk '37, Wyckoff '38, Butcher '39, Moffat '41, Milliken '42, Zalamea '43, Murphy '45, Bronstein '46, Butler '47, Gleason '47, Vanden Heuvel '47, Wheeler '48, Carroll '48, Wilson '4l, Hunter '42, Pinto '43, Riebow '44, Shuchter '44, Hatch '45, Holmes '45, Obrenski '48, Young '22, Bartlett '32, Herrick '38, Blumberg '41, Tanzi '41, Cross '46, Savage '46, Pfaff '47.

Hope to see all you fellows Dec. 1 and don't forget Wally.

Secretary, 129 Grand Ave., Freeport, L. 1., N. Y. TELEPHONE: 8-5878J
