A meeting of Dartmouth alumni living in the northern part of New Hampshire and northeastern Vermont was held Wednesday evening, November 3, at Thayer's Hotel in Littleton for the purpose of organizing a club and electing officers. President Dickey, accompanied by Sid Hayward and Bob Monahan, helped the club get olf to a good start by driving up from Hanover to address the 36 members gathered from various parts of the North Country. After a pleasant cocktail hour we enjoyed a very fine fried chicken dinner. This was the first opportunity for many of us to meet with President Dickey. His talk on "The Hanover Scene" served to bring us up to date on recent conditions and happenings. Governor-elect Sherman Adams '20 managed to find time to attend the meeting and make his first post-election appearance.

The following officers were elected: President, Dr. Ralph N. Jones '26 of Whitefield; Vice President, George E. Clark '17 of Lisbon; Secretary, Peter McLane '37 of Franconia; Treasurer, Martin A. Brown Jr. '36 of Lincoln; Executive Committee: Harford A. Nay '23 of Lancaster, Thomas B. Farwell '26 of Wells River, Ambrose F. McLaughlin Jr. '28 of Littleton.
