TWENTY-SEVEN UNDERGRADATES were elected to Phi Beta Kappa at the annual dinner meeting of the Dartmouth chapter March 16. Elected to honorary membership were Prof. Harwood L. Childs '19 of Princeton and U. S. Senator Ralph E. Flanders '3211 of Vermont. At the dinner, Prof. Robert E. Cushman, head of the government department at Cornell, gave an address on "The American Doctrine of Liberty."
