Greater Lawrence

THE DARTMOUTH CLUB of Greater Lawrence held its first meeting March 18, at the Andover Country Club in Andover. Sixty alumni were present. The speaker was Don Cameron.

During the course of the business meeting, a club constitution, drawn up and submitted by Judge Louis S. Cox '96, was adopted. This calls for an annual meeting, on or about Dartmouth Night each fall, and any additional meetings called by the Executive Committee. The management of the club is vested in the Officers and Executive Committee.

The following slate of officers was unanimously approved: Rev. Clinton W. Carvell '18, President; Richard J. Sullivan '28, VicePresident; Geoffrey Glendinning '28, Secretary; Albert P. Pettoruto '38, Treasurer. Executive Committee: Until 1949—Dr. Thomas V. Uniac '04, Donald Bennink '15; Until 1950 —Walter Tomlinson '26, George Goodman '35; Until 1951-John J. McKallagat Jr. '35, William P. Callagy '47.

Clint Carvell presided at the meeting. An excellent dinner was served by A 1 Weigel '29. Dr. John Wholey '34 was at the piano during the singing of all the Dartmouth songs we could remember. Jeff Glendinning led the singing.
