Several months ago Professor Knight made an interesting statement about today's pseudo-liberalism which the editors were privileged to see and which they invited him to expand into this article presenting his forthright, personal point of view.

A member of the Dartmouth faculty since 1924, and a full professor since 1935, Professor Knight teaches economic principles and the economics of international peace, as well as the coordinating course for economics majors. He is a graduate of the University of Utah (1921) and taught at Michigan and Wisconsin before coming to Dartmouth. He is the author of three books in the field of economics: Economics (with Nelson L. Smith '21), published in 1930, How to Run a War, 1935, and Economic Principles in Practice, 1939 and 1942.
