Recent publications by Professor Trevor Lloyd are Over the Horizon, in the September issue of The Canadian Library Association Bulletin, and Practical Geography in theHigh School, in McKnight's Geography inthe High School.

Elementary Modern Physics, by Professor Gordon Ferrie Hull, Professor Emeritus of Physics, has been published by the MacmillanCompany. This book of almost 500 pages is a revision of his book An Elementary Surveyof Modern Physics.

The American-German Review for August contains an article by Professor Frederick W. Sternfeld entitled The Musical Sources ofGoethe's Poetry.

. . . You Have to Carry the Rope, by Douglas E. Wade, an address delivered at the International Technical Conference on the Protection of Nature, UNESCO, Lake Success, August, has been issued in mimeograph form. The address has likewise been published in French, and issued in the same form.
