F. Little '41 and John A. Clark. LCG Publishing Cos., Hanover, N. H., p. 46, $1
Fundamentals of Skiing by Edward Little and John Clark should be of great interest to all skiers from novice to expert. It's a pleasure to read an instructional book on skiing which sticks to the middle of the road and does not attempt to say the turn must be done this way or must be done that way. The pictures and diagrams are extremely well executed to the point of even making one feel that he has just taken a lesson on the slope. This book has presented the fundamentals in a simple, concise, but easily understood manner to the beginners. It should also act as a "brush-up" for intermediate and experts regardless of what technique they employ. They will undoubtedly pick up some sound advise which should make their next day's skiing more enjoyable and safe.
