Belknap County

A meeting of the Belknap County Dartmouth Club was held in the Ski Room of the Laconia Tavern, at Laconia, N. H. on Friday evening, March 18, with the following members present:

Lew K. Perley '12, President; Theo S. Jewett '13, Secretary: and members, Stephen S. Jewett '40, Ray Wellbourn '41, Arthur D. O'Shea 'OB, John O'Shea '40, Forrest M. Brown '29, Edward Brazil '30, Gilman H. Lowery '30, Robert Pitman '42, William Lord '28, Everett Munsey '27, Merton Cotton '27, Walker T. Weed '40, Clarence Brazil '26, Dr. J. R. Perley '23, and Chester McClintock '24.

After a short business session President Perley called upon Art Young, assistant football coach at Dartmouth, and Roger K. Wolbarst, director of athletic publicity at Dartmouth, both of whom gave very interesting talks accompanied by football movies. They reviewed the athletic situation at Dartmouth, going into details in regard to football, baseball, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, and swimming. Many questions were asked and answered, and the meeting was recognized as being one of the most enjoyable in recent years.
