LUNCHEON EVERY MONDAYTOWN CLUB
The boys are making it quite a habit—every Monday at the Town Club. The management is treating us swell—none of the petty racke-teering we'd almost grown accustomed to in many places—ten cents here, a quarter there!
Among the regulars in attendance are BobBosworth '37, Steve Stotzer '36 (the friendly monument man), Hank Orth '27 (paper and pencils). Bill Spinney '4l (office appliances), Bob Niss '40 (furniture), The financial tycoons from Milwaukee's Wall Street usually show up too—Paul Duback '30, Skip French '38, and Jack Puelicher '43. Dick Stroud '36 hails from the bank neighborhood, but he's a mouthpiece instead—figures anybody can handle money, once they get it. Reg Nelson '4l1 makes it pretty often. We miss Ed Lueclke '34, and of course Don Gates '42 is regularhe sells insurance—so don't ask to use his pen unless you're all set to get the works.
Frank Frey '38 occasionally grabs a sandwich between telephone calls—his business is pots and pans. Charley Harrison '36 hasn't forgotton us entirely, and John Hase '31 is again taking time to eat with the gang once in a while. No telling where Bill Minehan '31 is. He gets all over the country giving pep talks to insurance salesmen (you didn't know they had to be primed, did you?).
Have you heard that the Goeres Hayssens '42 have a baby girl? Sometimes they're old enough for Smith or Vassar by the time we report—but then you must realize that we never receive our vital statistics by Western Union.
Bish Ivins '32 is well again, we are glad, but we are sorry to hear that his Mother passed away recently, and offer our sincere sympathy. We talked with her many times during Bish's recent convalescence.
Skip French's wife Bette broke her collar bone while skiing recently with Dick and Margaret Stroud, Tommy Trump '41 and BillSpinney. Now she's OK.
The Bosworths and Tom Trumps vacationed in Bermuda, as did Rodger Trump '38 and wife Nancy.
Bob Niss will do a little spring skiing at Aspen, Colorado. Bob's sister Happy has been a Dartmouth Winter Carnival guest. We think that her first and last names go together about as nicely as any two names can.
Fritz Meyer '33, passed up his western skiing this year and spent a little time in Miami.
