The annual meeting of the Melrose Dartmouth Club, held early in June, was small but very enthusiastic. Tentative plans for fall gettogethers were discussed, and officers were elected for the coming year.

A Nominating Committee, consisting of Hazen W. Jones '10, Walter A. Friend '23, Harry A. Hall Jr. '26, and George W. Simpson '15, submitted the following slate of officers for the ensuing year, and they were duly elected:

President, Wesley H. Beattie '33; Vice-President, Lester A. King '25; Treasurer, John A.Little '39; Secretary, Robert Y. Kimball '46.

The Melrose Club would like to congratulate the following men who are entering Dartmouth this year:

Russell S. Cary Jr., Rollin F. Haynes, Seaver Peters, and John W. Titus, all of Melrose; William D. Donavan, Richard T. Leary, Robert A. Price, of Medford; Henry L. Grebe, Daniel J. McCarthy, and Donald R. Meltzer, of Maiden; and George M. Morris, of Reading. This is an extremely fine group, and our club will be well represented in the years to come.

We would also like to welcome back to Melrose three members of last June's graduating class: Robert E. Alden '49, Francis M. AustinJr. '5O, and Robert E. Graham '5O.

We are sorry to lose for the present WalterPendleton '11 who has reported to Goose Bay, Labrador, where he will be working for the U. S. Army. We wish him the best of luck while he is away.
