The annual election of officers of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of San Diego and Imperial Counties was held Wednesday night, October 4. Clifton W. Power '31of La Jolla was elected president; Stanley W. Osgood '36 of La Jo'la, vice-president; and J. W. Knibbs '34 of Pacific Beach, secretary-treasurer.

The Association met for dinner at the University Club. Plans were discussed for the Cornell-Dartmouth smoker, celebrated each year the night before that bitterly contested football game.

President Power announced arrangements for a future monthly dinner to be held in La Jolla, and appointed the secretary to head a committee to continue negotiations for the organization of an Ivy League Club of San Diego. Other Dartmouth alumni in attendance

■were Robert S. Morris '12, Dr. Bernard P.Cunningham '33, Parker W. Meade '22, Lawrence M. Dalton '18, Leonard R. Manley '13, Ray Hughes, Vance Dickerman '31 and Dohrman Sinclair '28.
