HANOVER HIGH SCHOOL has won the Dartmouth Plaque which goes annually to the school whose delegation of three or more men in the freshman class achieves the highest scholastic average for the year. The 3.693 posted by the three Hanover men for the academic year 1950-51 was the highest average by any freshman group since the award began in 1925.

The Hanover delegation included Lo-Yi Chan, son of Prof, and Mrs. Wing-tsit Chan; Edward S. Horton, son of Prof, and Mrs. Clark W. Horton; and Peter Robinson, son of Prof, and Mrs. Robin Robinson ('24).

Other schools among the top ten were Bronx High School of Science, New York, 3.050; Lawrence (N. Y.) High School, 2.898; Atlantic City (N. J.) High School, 2.773; Summit (N. J.) High School, 2.645; East High School, Denver, 2.583; Horace Mann School for Boys, New York, 2.549; Upper Darby (Pa.) High School, 2.546; Montclair (N. J.) High School, 2.435; Laconia (N. H.) High School, 2.402.
