Five-Class Dinner Held
June 1951

The tenth annual Five-Class Dinner, held in Boston on May 2 at Schrafft's on West St., was highlighted by the presence of President Dickey as guest speaker and by the addition of the classes of 1900, '06 and '07 to the usual meeting made up of members from '01, '02, '03, '04 and '05. A total of 75 alumni were present.

President Dickey's talk on the continuing influence of Dr. Tucker in the spiritual life of the College was of great interest to the alumni present, all of whom had attended Dartmouth during Dr. Tucker's presidency. James C. Donnelly '05 was the Master of Ceremonies, with Harry Sampson '00, Walter Powers '06 and Wilfred H. Smart '07 speakers for their classes. In entertaining fashion they brought back matters vivid in the memories of their classmates and contemporaries. The evening was voted a highly successful occasion by all those who attended.

Like all nine five-class dinners that preceded it, the tenth anniversary observance of this annual affair was arranged by Robert H. Harding '05, who initiated and has since managed what has become one of the highlights of the year for Dartmouth men in the classes of the early 1 goo's.
