Valedictory

In closing this column for the academic year, we should like to pay tribute to a man who has been very close to Dartmouth athletics for the past three years, but whose name has seldom appeared in these (or any other) columns. We refer to Roger K. ("Roddy") Wolbarst '43, director of athletic publicity, who has recently resigned to enter private business. Roddy has, in literal fact, played his heart out on the playing fields of Dartmouth during his incumbency in this often frustrating position. In our own amateur journalistic efforts, Roddy has been of inestimable aid to your correspondent. We hate to see him go and wish him well.
