Dartmouth lacrosse players lost their second venture of the season at Providence May 14, when they were defeated by Brown 4 to 3 after a close contest. The Green players held a lead until the final moments of play when Brown staged a stern rally productive of two goals.

At Harvard, May IS, Dartmouth met lacrosse players far too good for a newly organized team to compete against on equal terms and took the short end of a 16 to 4 score. Lane, who scored six of the Harvard goals was the outstanding player of the day. For Dartmouth Benson scored twice and Wormley and Van Aalst once each.
