This summer Gene Leach writes he is in better shape than for several years. Has slowed down some and cannot climb mountains or play golf, but does spend part of the day in his office and looks after his many interests. ... Bemns Pierce's son Donald was married June 20, 1952, to Miss Patricia Maxwell Mulligan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph C. Mulligan at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Washington, D. C Joe O'Leary, one of BillO'Leary's boys, has joined the faculty at Michigan State College in a dual capacity; as assistant professor of Hotel Management and as Auditor of the Kellogg Center for Continuing Education (which includes a 200-room hotel). He has moved to a 100-acre farm near the college, which he also operates.

Tom and Inez Remsen announced the marriage of their daughter Anne to Albert John Pope Jr., at Hudson Falls, N. Y., June 28, 1952. Anne graduated from Smith College and her husband is a graduate of the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the University of Pennsylvania. The young couple enjoyed a wedding trip to Bermuda and now reside in Naugatuck, Conn.... Frank Newhall recently had a bad fall on the stairs, but fortunately no bones were broken, although he was badly shaken up. Frankie keeps busy with his garden and his civic interests, including Y.M.C.A., Rotary, the Public Library, and the Masons.

The Cudworths were in Hanover over Memorial Day. "Cuddy," a member of the Board of Trustees of the Thayer School, delivered the Commencement address at the Thayer School graduation, a most fitting honor on the 50th anniversary of his own graduation.

Perley Grant still carries on as Pastor of the Union Evangelical Church, Three River's, Mass., and he also does some broadcasting over W-A-R-E. He enjoyed the reunion last year, getting a great lift in seeing and talking to old friends.... Art Redman, in a letter to Johnnie Ward, states he is in fine health, and as further evidence thereof, he said he was out to the ranch recently and helped the boys fill one of their silos Bunker and PearlBishop, who have lived at 425 Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, for many years, have sold their old home, and taken an apartment at 355 Clinton Ave., Brooklyn 5, N. Y. They were in Waterford, Me., most of the summer, except when Bunker had to return to Brooklyn to look after his patients.

Kid Barnard attended the eight-class dinner in Boston in May, and he was pleased to see so many o£ his old friends, it being the first time he had ever attended one of these dinners. He is now retired and enjoying his leisure, spending a great deal of his time reading.

FOR OLD LANG SYNE: Ernest M. Hopkins '01, President Emeritus, was an honored guest at the Administration picnic outing held in June.
