Chan Cox attended the Republican National Convention in Philadelphia in July as the guest of Congressman Martin. He has been appointed Chairman of the Committee on Public Defense by Governor Saltonstall, so he has been busy all summer, with these duties, as well as those of his regular position as President of the Old Colony Trust Company.

The New York crowd want special mention made of their annual Class Party at the Dartmouth Club, 30 East 37th Street, Friday night, November 8, the night before the Dartmouth-Princeton Game. If you have never attended one of these class dinners you have missed a lot, and our advice is to make it if possible. It is said that Bunker Bishop will care for the head of the table and other things. (Just what that means we will leave to you to guess.) Eighteen of the class showed up last year, and more probably this year. It ought to be a good start to get in line for the Reunion next June.

Bunker Bishop's summer home is in the delightful old town of Waterford, Maine, and two very happy and delightful weddings took place in the old colonial church there this last August. On August 8, Bunker and Pearl's daughter, Mary was married to Robert H. Ross Jr., of Dayton, Ohio, a graduate of the college with the class of 1938, and three weeks later, son Joseph Warren, was married to Miss Barbara Kuhn daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James I. Kuhn of Cleveland, Ohio.
