Last month we reported that several of Tuck's 1952 graduates were stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Referring to the activity of these men and a group from Harvard Business School in handling eight major problems assigned to them during a three-week orientation conference in the fall, Col. G. C. McDowell stated that the results were "amazing to our veteran supply people. They were amazed that these young officers could in three weeks make such complete studies of these complex problems and recommend such clear-cut courses of action toward solving them."

Outside speakers in October were: Cyrus S. Ching, recently resigned director of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Board; George E. Sprague T'26, merchandise manager, Kendall Mills; Preston K.
